vLMIS Release Notes — September 2026 (current)
This note describes the live Vaccine LMIS build used for national and provincial operations. It covers access and login behaviour, stock and Form B, cold-chain dashboards, reporting, NEIR Stock, and public support pages as of late September 2026.
Access and identity
- Users log in and stay on the vLMIS application host; home and footer links use the site base URL.
- Sign-out returns to the vLMIS home page (
/index). - Login shows a specific message when the password is correct but the account was deactivated after three months without login, or is otherwise inactive.
- A session uses only the user’s default warehouse and does not inherit another user’s store.
- Dates and times use Pakistan Standard Time (Asia/Karachi).
- FDI / EPI branding and province emblems appear in header and footer as configured for the live site.
Stock, consumption, and Form B
- Receive Warehouse requires a cold-chain or dry-store placement location and records VVM stages as entered; partial receive is supported.
- Monthly consumption calculates closing balance; negative closing balance is blocked on save.
- Form B (Consumption and Requisition) continues from EPI centres through district and province to Federal EPI, using AMC and months of stock.
- Dry-store and cold-store roles remain separate. Stock Issue can show manufacturer short name with the batch for diluent matching.
- Stock movement search supports campaign versus routine transfers where enabled.
Cold chain
- Cold Chain Dashboard (
/reports/provincial-cold-chain) — menu title updated; ACL for inventory warehouse roles; view scoped to the user’s geography and under-levels; empty location rows without equipment are hidden. - Filtered Excel export for the dashboard respects geo and chip filters.
- Cold-chain capacity dashlets align with receive-list equipment, including ILR / refrigerator units where applicable.
- Store managers continue to maintain assets, working status, generators, and room alarms through the cold-chain module.
- Provincial Excel reconciliation for Punjab cold rooms, vehicles, and generators (map / add / inactive / status) is supported for authorised data updates.
Reports and System Analyst
- Division and district stock, months of stock, wastage, coverage, data-performance, in-transit, and related inventory reports remain available by ACL.
- Receive, issue, voucher, gatepass, and shipment prints are available for store and audit use.
- System Analyst area consolidates operational views, including NEIR receives, stock reset, and integration issue screens where ACL is granted.
NEIR and EPIMIS
- EPIMIS–vLMIS location mapping keeps shared UC / tehsil / district geography for reporting.
- NEIR Stock (Android) supports overview, receiving, daily stock, Form B, ledger, offline sync, and receive-voucher PDF for facilities where the app is issued.
Public pages and support
- FAQs and What's New describe current login, stock, and cold-chain behaviour.
- Contact Us requires a captcha verification code; messages go to Federal Directorate of Immunization support (systemsupport@epi.gov.pk unless a different contact email is configured).
- Unused captcha image files under
public/captchaare removed automatically after one week when a new captcha is generated.

Older numbered PDF notes (v2.5–v2.9) were published on the previous LMIS portal. Keep local copies if you still need them for audit; links below may not resolve on every host.
