Practical answers for store, tehsil, district, and provincial staff using Vaccine LMIS on the live production system at v.lmis.gov.pk.
Login and account
-
What is vLMIS?
Vaccine LMIS is the national logistics system for EPI vaccines and related supplies. It records stock from federal and provincial stores down to district, tehsil, and EPI-centre stores: receipts, issues, batches, expiry, consumption, requisitions, and cold-chain equipment.
-
How do I log in?
Open v.lmis.gov.pk and enter your username and password. After a successful login you stay on this system. Sign-out returns to the same vLMIS home page (not an external LMIS site).
-
Login says my account was deactivated after 3 months
If you have not logged in for three months, the account may be switched off automatically. When the password is correct, vLMIS shows that reason on the login screen. Email systemsupport@epi.gov.pk with your official letter and username to request reactivation. Other inactive accounts show a clear inactive message instead of a generic password error.
-
I forgot my password
Use Forgot Password? on the home page. It opens Contact Us with Subject Password Reset Request and a message template for Login ID, CNIC, Gender, and Designation. Complete those lines, add your name and contact details, and send — or write to systemsupport@epi.gov.pk with the same information. Do not share another user’s login — the session is tied to one default warehouse.
-
Why does a profile window appear after login?
vLMIS asks for an up-to-date name, cell number, email, CNIC, gender, and (for store users) GPS of the vaccine store. Complete the required fields and save. You can close the window and continue; it returns on later logins until the profile is complete.
Stock and monthly reporting
-
How does stock move?
Vaccines are received and issued on First Expiry First Out (FEFO). Lower stores receive the voucher, then issue onward until stock reaches the EPI centre. Always finish Receive Warehouse against the correct store and placement location.
-
Receive Warehouse will not save
Select a cold-chain or dry-store location for each line (or Check All where it applies) and set the VVM stage. Partial receive is supported. Confirm you are logged into your default warehouse.
-
Monthly consumption / closing balance
Closing balance is calculated by the system. Negative closing balance is blocked so a month cannot be saved with a stock error. Wait for the form to finish loading before Save, and avoid submitting the same month in two browser tabs.
-
What is Form B?
Form B (Consumption and Requisition) runs from EPI centres through district and province to Federal EPI. It uses average monthly consumption and months of stock to support the request quantity. The same rules are used in the NEIR Stock Android app where that app is issued.
-
What are SoH, AMC, and MoS?
- Stock on Hand (SoH): quantity currently in the store.
- Average Monthly Consumption (AMC): average of recent months with consumption greater than zero.
- Months of Stock (MoS): SoH ÷ AMC — how long the stock is expected to last.
Cold chain and reports
-
Where is the Cold Chain Dashboard?
Inventory warehouse users can open Cold Chain Dashboard under Coldchain Reports (
/reports/provincial-cold-chain). The view is limited to your geography (province, division, district, tehsil, or UC and below). Empty location rows with no equipment are not shown. Capacity dashlets and working-status updates remain available from the usual cold-chain screens. -
Does cold-chain capacity include ILRs?
Yes. The cold-chain capacity dashlet is aligned with the equipment list you see on receive, including ILR / refrigerator units where they apply to that store.
-
What reports are available?
Division and district stock, months of stock, wastage, coverage, data-performance, in-transit, and System Analyst operational views (including NEIR-related reviews where ACL allows). Use Export Excel on dashboards where the button is shown.
NEIR Stock (Android)
-
What is NEIR Stock?
NEIR Stock is the Android app for facility and vaccinator stock: overview, receiving, daily stock, Form B, ledger, and receive-voucher PDF. It can work offline and sync when the network returns. Use web vLMIS if the app has not yet been issued to your facility.
Support
-
How do I contact support?
Use Contact Us (verification code required), or email systemsupport@epi.gov.pk. Include your vLMIS username, store name, and a short description. Screenshots help.
